Welcome to the Blog!

When I first started writing, my very first 'website' was a BlogSpot page called 'The Bateson Portal'. That's because I had so many disparate pages, YouTube channels and so on that I was struggling to manage the content I was producing. I've since gone through two different web providers trying to perfect my website experience for you, the readers. This has included unifying my online pages, getting everything relating to my books onto the site to make it easier for you to see and find what you want to.

One of the things that I always overlooked on all of these sites was a consistent blog - sure, one has existed over the years in the form of the old News page on my site, but it was largely just recycled Facebook posts that weren't very engaging. So now, I'm going to commit myself to writing a weekly blog with updates on book progress, ideas for upcoming projects, both on the Filmmaker and Writer sides, maybe the odd review or whatever I think could be of interest.
